Resolution: The number of pixels in an image. The more pixels, the higher the resolution. The higher the resolution, the better the picture

Pixels: Short for picture element. The pixel is the smallest part of a digitized or Digital Image. The more pixels the higher the resolution of the picture.

Megapixel: One million pixels. The term is used in reference to the resolution of a digital camera. The larger the megapixel value the higher the quality of the camera’s output.

DPI: Dot's per inch, specifies the resolution of an output device, such as a printer. The resolution of an image or how many pixels are defined in the boundary of a square inch.

PPI: The resolution of an image or how many pixels are defined in the boundary of a square inch.

Screen Resolution: 72 dpi
Print Resolution: 150 dpi
Press Resolution: 300 dpi
